Special Celebrating Session for Professor Wataru Takahashi

Professor Wataru Takahashi celebrated his 75th birthday in January 2019. He is a founding member of the International Conference of Nonlinear Analysis and Convex Analysis (NACA), which has been held continuously every 2 or 3 years, and NACA-ICOTA2019 is the 11th conference jointly held with ICOTA. Professor Takahashi is very well-known for his research in nonlinear analysis including nonlinear ergodic theory for nonexpansive semigroups, fixed point theorems for nonlinear mappings, studies of convex metric spaces, and approximation theory of fixed points with very strong impact in nonlinear analysis. His total number of citations exceed 8000 according to MathScinet.

In this conference, we are going to organize a special session in honor of Professor Takahashi's 75th birthday. We look forward to seeing as many participants as possible.
